Pauliina May
Vocalist Pauliina May is highly appreciated stage personality. She was raised in a musical environment and refined her skills at the conservatories of the Pop&Jazz Conservatory in Helsinki, Finland (1991-1996) and in The Latin Music Department of The Rotterdam Conservatory in The Netherlands, from where she graduated with a Diploma degree of 9/10 on 2000. During her career Pauliina May has explored the worlds of Jazz, Afro-Cuban music, Brazilian music and Argentinean Tango up to Neo-classical world-music and Finnish lyrical music. Pauliina has performed at international festivals and jazz clubs with several orchestras and big bands from various countries. Currently she is established in The Netherlands, in the city of Gorinchem. Performances as a soloist with UMO Jazz Orchestra(FI), Romanian Radio Big Band, Estonian Dream Big Band, Imatra Big Band(FI), Settlemen Big Band(FI), La Banda IrE(NL), Rumbata(NL), Corazon Ardiente(NL),Eric y su Chocolate(NL), Pauliina May Jazz Quintet(FI&NL), Latin Feelin(NL) etc. More info, music & videos on her website: www.pauliinamay.com
